Kenny MacKinnon

I'm an amateur oboist currently playing with Falkirk Tryst Orchestra. I previously played in a chamber music group in Edinburgh known variously as Edinburgh Music Making Initiave, Edinburgh Music Society and The West End Music Room. As well as playing, I have stumbled into making recordings of rehearsals and performances and learning some tricks in audacity to clean them up and publish. It's all for fun and to make some memories of the good times I have enjoyed playing with other people.

I recorded the parts some time during lockdown and then forgot about mixing them together until recently.

A chaconne,, I can't remember the composer's name. Recorded at an Edinburgh Music Society rehearsal in September 2016.
Players: Kenny (me) oboe; Linda flute; Louise cello.
The recording's a bit unbalanced and harsh partly because it was made on my phone sitting on my music stand so the oboe dominates the sound (as if I need an excuse). I was also...
