"Blast from the Past" is a delightful romantic comedy film released in 1999. Directed by Hugh Wilson, the movie tells the story of Adam Webber (played by Brendan Fraser), a man raised in a fallout shelter by his eccentric parents (Christopher Walken and Sissy Spacek) after the Cuban Missile Crisis. When Adam emerges into the modern world for the first time as an adult, he meets Eve, played by the talented Alicia Silverstone.
