A collection of MRT trains that are decommissioned and these recordings were done by me.
First three generations of Singapore Metro trains. They are the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Contract 151, Siemens AG Contract 651, and Kawasaki Heavy Industries & Nippon Sharyo Contract 751B. These trains, the first 3 generations of MRT trains are operated by SMRT Trains. Due to its ongoing decommissioning process of MRT trains. All decommissioned trains are sent to Toyotron Pte Ltd (Singapore). Some trains will be preserved/upcycled for organisations, charities and/or education purposes.
**REVENUE SERVICE DATES**
Kawasaki C151 entered service on the 7th November 1987, the Siemens AG C651 entered in 2 May 1995, and the Kawasaki-Nippon Sharyo C751B entered on the 8th May 2000.
66 trains procured under contract C151, 19 trains procured under contract C651 and 21 trains procured under contract C751B. Making up the total of 106 trains, 636 carriages in all.
