When I was around 10 my dad always worked nights, so often is was just me my mom and my siblings. I liked to sleep in my parents bed when it was just me and my mom. One night I woke up at around 3 4 in the night from someone banging on our front door. And just so you all understand first, when you enter the house there is a hallway that goes down to the bedroom, and right beside the front door is where our kitchen is so you can nearly see the whole front door from inside.
