Fired up my old VSL template in Studio One. Will I get ever tired of VSL Strings Pro pianissimo articulation? Probably not.
Decided to quickly make some music before the year ends. There was no plan, I just naturally gravitate towards the bittersweet, it seems.
One hour of throwing ideas around to see what sticks. Some of it should be salvageable, I like the geiger-counter-ass glitchy sound in the first part.
WIP. Not a "proper" chiptune, but an experiment of replicating ZX Spectrum, Tim Follin / David Whittaker type sound with modern tools.
- Phaseplant VST with chipcrusher VST
- Pigments just as a sampler with a sample exported from Beepola/BuzzFX
- chipsynth for the arp
- Pigments + Synchronous for bass
- Nostromo for the pad
- Reason as a DAW
had an idea. rolled with it. and then it was late in the evening.
