Psycho Camilla

Psycho Camilla was a band in the late 80's early 90's from Cardiff. Sadly, despite playing many gigs and recording in London at Southern Studios, few actual recordings survive today. This page contains tracks from the rough cut recording from the session at Sothern Studios plus three tracks from an earlier session in 1989 recorded in Chariot Studios with the original lineup. Digitised from a cassette recording the quality isn't great, but it's good to hear the songs after 20 years or so.

Taken from a rough cut recording from Southern Studios when the band went to London to record and play two gigs. The name the Jam came from the fact the song started out as a jam to warm up the band and then developed into one of their best songs.

Taken from a rough cut recording from Southern Studios when the band went to London to record and play two gigs. The song title came from the legendary Square Club DJ the Lizzard. The band wrote the song whilst rehearsing at the famous Cardiff nightspot. They could think if a name for the song so asked the Lizzard who came up with the name.

Lineup...

This was the last song written by the band before they split. The tape ran out before the end of the song. We can see the musical direction the band had taken since the earlier goth style.

Bass Guitar: Adrian Cummins
