Text-to-Speech (TTS) is a technology that converts text into spoken voice output. It is used in a variety of applications, including voice assistants, navigation systems, and accessibility tools for people with visual impairments. On 101soundboards you can use TTS to create custom sounds in the voices of celebrities, streamers, cartoon characters and more, then share them with others. TTS voices are synthetic creations and do not imply any affiliation with the person whose name or likeness may be associated with it.
When you submit a phrase to be converted into speech, our system sends the text to a TTS engine, which generates an audio file of the spoken text. The audio file is then added to the soundboard for you to play and share with others.
To use the TTS feature, simply enter your desired phrase in the text box on the voice of oyur choice. Click the "Generate" button to create your custom sound. The TTS engine will process your request and generate an audio file of the spoken text, which will be added to the top of the soundboard in green for you to play and share with others.
You can find a list of available voices and song generators on the TTS page. Explore a variety of voices and create unique sounds to share with your friends.
The time it takes for your TTS request to be processed depends on the current queue size and the TTS engine being used. Some voices have no queue and are processed immediately, while others may take a few minutes to generate the audio file.
If there is a queue, while waiting for your TTS request to be processed you can bookmark the page and check back later. You can also explore other voices and song generators on the site to create more sounds, or explore the millions of sounds already available on 101soundboards.
Yes, you can queue multiple sounds for generation at the same time. Each sound will be processed in the order it was submitted, and you can check the status of each request on the soundboard.
Phrases with extreme inappropriate language, hate speech, self-harm, violence, or bullying may be blocked and not displayed on the soundboard. Please keep your requests fun, friendly, and respectful.
To delete a TTS sound you created, right click on the sound (press and hold on mobile) and select "Report" from the context menu. The sound will typically be removed from the soundboard within a few minutes.
You can find more voices and song generators on the TTS Voices List. Explore a variety of voices and create unique sounds to share with your friends.
Sometimes we use AI to generate a phrase in the style of the character or voice you requested. This is a bonus and can be fun to explore.

Emma Spence TTS Computer AI Voice
Type your text to hear it in the voice of Emma Spence. The soft hum of the computer's fan filled the room as Emma Spence's TTS (Text-to-Speech) AI system came to life. It was a gentle sound, almost soothing in its consistency. As the system booted up, the sound of keys clicking could be heard as Emma inputted the text she wanted the AI to speak. The clacking of the keys was rhythmic, almost musical in nature, as if each keystroke was a note in a symphony of words.
The whirring of the processor could be heard next, a low, steady sound that indicated the AI was analyzing the text and preparing to speak. It was a mechanical sound, a reminder that behind the facade of human-like speech was a complex network of algorithms and calculations. Despite its artificial nature, there was a certain beauty in the sound, a melody of numbers and logic.
As Emma hit the "play" button, the most striking sound filled the room - the voice of the TTS AI itself. It was clear and articulate, the words flowing seamlessly from the speakers in a tone that was eerily human-like. There was a hint of warmth in the voice, a touch of emotion that belied its artificial origins. It was a voice that commanded attention, drawing listeners in with its clarity and precision.
With each word spoken, a soft beep followed, indicating the end of a sentence. It was a simple sound, yet it served as a punctuation mark in the AI's speech, a signal that one thought had ended and another was about to begin. The beep was like a digital heartbeat, a reminder that behind the facade of language was a meticulously programmed system, pulsing with data and information.
Occasionally, a synthesized laughter would fill the room, a sound designed to mimic human emotion and interaction. It was a curious sound, a reminder of the AI's attempts to replicate the nuances of human speech. Despite its artificial nature, the laughter was infectious, drawing a smile to Emma's face as she listened to the AI's attempts at humor.
In the quieter moments, the sound of silence enveloped the room, a stark contrast to the cacophony of sounds that had come before. It was a peaceful sound, a moment of stillness in a world filled with noise and chatter. In the silence, Emma could hear the hum of her own thoughts, a reminder that despite the advancements in technology, the human mind still held a power and complexity all its own.
As the AI continued to speak, a subtle echo could be heard in the background, a ghostly reminder of the words that had come before. It was a haunting sound, a reflection of the AI's ability to recall and repeat information with near-perfect accuracy. The echo served as a reminder of the AI's capabilities, a glimpse into a future where machines could store and recite vast amounts of data with ease.
In the final moments of the AI's speech, a gentle chime sounded, signaling the end of the text and the completion of its task. It was a bittersweet sound, a reminder that all things must come to an end, even the most captivating of performances. As the chime faded into silence, Emma sat back in her chair, reflecting on the sounds that had filled the room and the AI that had brought them to life.
In the aftermath, only the soft hum of the computer's fan remained, a constant presence in the room. It was a comforting sound, a reminder of the technology that had enabled Emma to create and interact with her AI system. As she prepared to input more text and bring the AI back to life, she smiled, knowing that the sounds of her creation would continue to echo through the room, a testament to the power of technology and human ingenuity.
