Text-to-Speech (TTS) is a technology that converts text into spoken voice output. It is used in a variety of applications, including voice assistants, navigation systems, and accessibility tools for people with visual impairments. On 101soundboards you can use TTS to create custom sounds in the voices of celebrities, streamers, cartoon characters and more, then share them with others. TTS voices are synthetic creations and do not imply any affiliation with the person whose name or likeness may be associated with it.
When you submit a phrase to be converted into speech, our system sends the text to a TTS engine, which generates an audio file of the spoken text. The audio file is then added to the soundboard for you to play and share with others.
To use the TTS feature, simply enter your desired phrase in the text box on the voice of oyur choice. Click the "Generate" button to create your custom sound. The TTS engine will process your request and generate an audio file of the spoken text, which will be added to the top of the soundboard in green for you to play and share with others.
You can find a list of available voices and song generators on the TTS page. Explore a variety of voices and create unique sounds to share with your friends.
The time it takes for your TTS request to be processed depends on the current queue size and the TTS engine being used. Some voices have no queue and are processed immediately, while others may take a few minutes to generate the audio file.
If there is a queue, while waiting for your TTS request to be processed you can bookmark the page and check back later. You can also explore other voices and song generators on the site to create more sounds, or explore the millions of sounds already available on 101soundboards.
Yes, you can queue multiple sounds for generation at the same time. Each sound will be processed in the order it was submitted, and you can check the status of each request on the soundboard.
Phrases with extreme inappropriate language, hate speech, self-harm, violence, or bullying may be blocked and not displayed on the soundboard. Please keep your requests fun, friendly, and respectful.
To delete a TTS sound you created, right click on the sound (press and hold on mobile) and select "Report" from the context menu. The sound will typically be removed from the soundboard within a few minutes.
You can find more voices and song generators on the TTS Voices List. Explore a variety of voices and create unique sounds to share with your friends.
Sometimes we use AI to generate a phrase in the style of the character or voice you requested. This is a bonus and can be fun to explore.

Jade Xu TTS Computer AI Voice
Type your text to hear it in the voice of Jade Xu. The gentle hum of electricity filled the room as Jade Xu's TTS (text-to-speech) computer AI powered up. The soft clicking of keys being typed on a keyboard echoed through the space, a prelude to the melodic voice that would soon emerge from the speakers. Each keystroke was deliberate, precise, as if the AI itself was carefully crafting each word it would speak.
As the program initialized, a series of beeps and boops resonated from the speakers, indicating that the system was fully operational. It was a symphony of digital sounds, a technological overture that heralded the beginning of a conversation with the AI. The tones were sharp and clear, punctuating the air with their electronic melody.
And then, finally, the moment arrived. A voice, smooth and soothing, poured forth from the speakers. It was Jade Xu's voice, synthesized and perfected by the AI to be as close to human speech as possible. The timbre of her voice was rich and warm, with just a hint of a robotic edge that reminded listeners that they were indeed conversing with an artificial intelligence.
The words flowed effortlessly from the AI, each syllable enunciated with precision and clarity. There was no hesitation in its speech, no pauses or stumbles that often accompany human conversation. It was a seamless stream of sound, a testament to the advancements in technology that had made such lifelike speech possible.
As the conversation continued, there were occasional bursts of static that crackled through the speakers. It was a reminder that, despite the sophistication of the AI, it was still a machine at its core. The static was a stark contrast to the smooth cadence of Jade Xu's voice, a jarring interruption that served as a reminder of the AI's artificial nature.
But even as the static persisted, Jade Xu's voice remained unwavering. It cut through the interference with a calm assurance, never faltering in its delivery. The AI seemed unaffected by the disruptions, continuing to speak as if nothing had changed. It was a testament to the resilience of the program, a reminder that even in the face of adversity, it would continue to function as intended.
Throughout the conversation, there were moments of silence interspersed with the sound of keyboard clicks as the AI processed information and formulated responses. The silence was pregnant with anticipation, a brief pause before the AI would once again spring to life with its synthesized speech. It was a moment of stillness in an otherwise dynamic exchange of words and sounds.
And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, the conversation came to an end. The final words spoken by the AI hung in the air, a lingering echo of the interaction that had taken place. There was a sense of finality in the air, a feeling that the conversation had reached its natural conclusion.
As the AI powered down, the room fell silent once more. The only sound that remained was the soft whirring of the computer's fan, a gentle reminder of the technology that had brought Jade Xu's voice to life. It was a quiet, almost meditative sound, a soothing background noise that filled the space in the absence of the AI's speech.
And so, with a final click, the TTS computer AI shut down, leaving behind only the memory of the conversation that had taken place. The room was once again still, the only sound the faint hum of electricity that permeated the air. It was a sound that seemed to linger, a ghostly reminder of the artificial intelligence that had briefly inhabited the space.
As the quiet settled over the room, there was a sense of melancholy that accompanied the departure of the AI. The absence of Jade Xu's voice, so recently present in the room, left a void that echoed with the emptiness of its absence. It was a tangible reminder of the fleeting nature of technology, a reminder that even the most advanced AI is ultimately bound by its limitations.
And so, the room remained silent, the only sound the soft hum of electricity that filled the air. It was a sound that seemed to stretch on endlessly, a constant background noise that persisted long after the AI had left. The room was still, empty of the sounds that had once filled it, a silent testament to the passage of time.
