"Hi, Billy Mays here!" Billy Mays was a TV salesman with a booming voice who dominated commercial breaks all throughout the 2000s, most known for being the charismatic star for commercials for OxiClean, Kaboom, Mighty Putty, and Orange Glo, among many others. But I'm not done yet! In the late 2000s, his popularity was extended as he became a common source for the genre of internet videos known as YouTube Poops. Unfortunately, Billy Mays died in June 2009 at the age of 50, but his booming voice lives on in the recordings of his countless commercials (and YTPs). Some of his commercials are still lost to time, perhaps on forgotten VHS tapes in someone's basement. RIP Billy Mays (1958 - 2009)
