Rob Lucey began writing songs in the early 1980s in high school, most often collaborating with his buddy Kevin Jecker. In mid 1980s, he attended the University of Texas where he collaborated with several musical friends, most often working with Judson Taylor in their duo LUCkY TAiLORs. Years later, Rob joined a sea shanty band and spent a period living on a boat and writing sea songs. While cruising the Caribbean, he would perform with his wife Jo. Rob still writes an occasional tune.
