Soul Eater is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ohkubo. It was licensed for distribution in North America by Yen Press it was serialized in Yen Press' Yen Plus manga anthology starting in July 2008. The manga was preceded by three separate one-shots published by Square Enix in 2003.
