When my wife and I turned 50, we treated ourselves to a trip to the Seychelles. We went to La Digue and enjoyed the gorgeous beaches. Fairy Terns all over! We were caught in an Indo-Pacific dream.

When I was in Granada, Spain, I strolled tiredly through the streets of Albaicín, having got up early because of the flight in the morning.
I came to a beautiful place. The sun was shining and the vibrancy of Spanish life was screaming at me.
The Spanish noise level, which I love, was a delight... and I was right in the middle of...

Galicische Momente | Galician Moments
In Summer '23 we visite the first time Galicia in Spain.
We had so magical moments at the beach, the cities, with the people and so on that I wrote this number.
We felt like prisenors in a gallego dream, wonderful. I hope that I could transport that overwhelming emotions with this composition a bit.

When I am in a concert hall listening to an orchestra, that is the greatest thing for me.
When the orchestra plays in a cacophony, I am completely spellbound.
Every time I think this is already the highlight of the evening. And then they all tune the instruments so that you can taste the chamber tone.
And I think, that's it, it can't get any better...

A couple of years ago, one of my brothers fell over and was dead; out of the blue.
In that shocking time, I wrote for my dead brother; Andreas was his name, this song.

In Freefall
Inspired by a Metropol Orkest concert with the huge Richard Bona in Valkenburg/NL in Summer `23.
All of Vince Mendoza arrangements were so beautiful (as specially one extraordenary), that I to try to write an own composition with a tough of that beauty. While these guys playing, I felt like in freefall.

Should be the last Samba in a live set. Sung in four languages: deutsch, portuguese, français and english.

I love the swifts, when they fly in little floks and the sound, when they call out loud.
This is a picture of the feeling thats floating through me in those kind of moments...
