From the album "The Blow Vol.5" by Dunning and Underwood, an album of tracks made with the Mammoth Beat Organ.
The machine is a modular, mechanical music contraption designed as a two-player, semi-autonomous musical instrument. It plays unusual, sometimes erratic compositions drawing on drone music, minimalist repetition and fairground organ techni...
With a shared use of tapes, sampling and lo-fi production a collaboration seemed a natural choice when Stuart Chalmers and Graham Dunning first met in September 2014.
Following a recording session at The Island in Bristol with Henry Collins, the two each filled a C60 and swapped them. With half of the material each, they worked independently, overd...

From the album "Silo" released by Fort Evil Fruit in 2022.
Silo uses the text-based sample sequencer TidalCycles on a diverse selection of tracks broadly recalling underground dance music of the late 80s and early 90s. The combination of classic house and techno tropes with off-kilter and randomised elements infects familiar territory with an air o...
