The Angry Birds Movie is a 2016 animated comedy film based on the popular video game franchise of the same name. Directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly, the movie takes place on an island where flightless birds lead a peaceful existence. Red (voiced by Jason Sudeikis), a grumpy bird with anger issues, is sentenced to anger management classes when his temper gets the best of him. However, his peaceful life is disrupted when a group of pigs arrives on the island and steals the birds' precious eggs. Red, along with his newfound friends Chuck (voiced by Josh Gad) and Bomb (voiced by Danny McBride), set out on a journey to retrieve their stolen eggs and save their home.
